James Sill- Baseball Rookie of the Week- SUNY Old Westbury

James Sill had an outstanding week for the Panthers as the team went 4-5, picking up three conference wins. 

To start the week, against St. Elizabeth, Sill went 1-4 at the dish and added another RBI to his total on the year. Sill's hit was the game winner for OW as they took down the Eagles, 3-1.

Over the weekend, in conference play, Sill was red-hot. He finished the weekend with a total of five home runs. In the four total games against Mount Saint Vincent and Mount Saint Mary, Sill went 10-18 at the plate. The reigning Nassau County Diamond Award winner finished with 12 RBIs and nine runs. Sill has now broken the first-year record for home runs in a season in program history. 

Currently, Sill has the fourth best slugging percentage in the conference. The Long Island Native has the sixth most RBIs across the conference. The first year has the second most home runs in the Skyline Conference so far with nine.
